Stockton Virtual School

After hearing about Cornerstone VR from another local virtual school, Stockton Virtual School were keen to implement Virtual Reality (VR) into their training sessions to help put Attachment, Award and Trauma Informed (AATI) learning into context for their school and social care teams, and to provide professionals with a deeper understanding of children’s lived experiences.

Southend-On-Sea Borough Council

Being one of the first local authorities in the UK to implement Cornerstone VR across its services in 2018/19, Southend-On-Sea Borough Council has set out to use VR to improve awareness and understanding around childhood trauma across its services, in turn, supporting the timely decision making process regarding their most vulnerable children.

Flourish Fostering

Flourish Fostering uses Cornerstone VR to tackle prevalent topics, such as childhood trauma, child sexual and criminal exploitation (CSE and CCE), and train Foster Parents in advanced subjects more quickly, providing a realistic perspective of fostering that facilitates deep understanding and empathy for each child’s lived experience.

Hampshire County Council

Inspirations Leicestershire

The partnership between Cornerstone VR and Inspirations Children’s Homes, Leicestershire exemplifies outstanding multi-agency collaboration, harnessing immersive virtual reality (VR) content to transform staff recruitment, staff training and traditional interventions with young people.

The Metropolitan Police

Cornerstone VR approached the Metropolitan Police (MET) about the possibility of training officers, using virtual reality (VR) technology which simulates real-life situations, thereby raising awareness, increasing empathy and challenging behavioural norms.

After being shown programme content, the VR was presented to those in the East Met division and the training was approved as a pilot scheme with the aim of introducing it more widely to the MET.

NHS Trust Dartford & Gravesham

After a Senior Sister for Safeguarding discovered Cornerstone VR at an NSPCC conference and recognised its potential for enhancing safeguarding training, Darent Valley Hospital, an NHS Trust hospital in Dartford, began integrating VR into its training and development programs.
